Mr. Fier has over 25 years of international experience in a senior capacity including exploration, acquisition, development and production of numerous mining projects in Brazil, Chile, Honduras, Mexico, and Peru. His extensive experience includes project evaluation and management, reserve estimation and economic analysis as well as operations management. Mr. Fier is Chief Operating Officer of SilverCrest Mines Inc. and President of Minera Pacific Inc. and has been Chief Geologist with Pegasus Gold Corp., Senior Engineer and Manager with Newmont Mining Corporation and Project Manager with Eldorado Gold Corporation.
Mr. Fier's experience with coal includes Goodrich in Tumbler Ridge, British Columbia; Decker Coal in Powder River Basin, Montana; contributed to a feasibility study on a coal mine in British Columbia and consulting with Snowden on a thermal coal project in Australia. |
